Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) has developed National Ethical Guidelines for Health Research in Nepal 2022 for researchers, reviewers, research sponsors, and regulatory authorities to ensure that the proposed studies involving human subjects are ethically justifiable and conform to the internationally accepted ethical principles. The main goal of the guidelines is to protect the rights and the dignity of the research participants as well as to ensure essential research of high social and scientific value.
